I've been thinking of looking for other options abroad and I've set my sights on Europe, specifically Span, but I don't have anyone to ask about specific experiences. I'm looking for someone whose living in Spain as an American already to give me a rundown about what to expect and things I'll need to do to make my stay as comfortable as possible.

I think i get what you'rre talking about. Talking to someone who's actually living there makes a big difference. From what i've heard, visas take some work but aren't impossible, and cost of living really depends on where you're at. Healthcare's very important, but you'll want to get your insurance sorted early.

I will be working remotely, and I still haven't looked into anything visa related, I wanted to learn more about the location and what to expect. Honestly the time I stay there will probably depend on the duration of the visa.
