Interested to know where the other expats reside now and how are the living conditions.

I'm currently in Canada and I came from Colombia and lived there for about 5 months. I love Colombia but of course, like every country it has its good and bad side like when I was living in Puerto Rico but that's for another post.

The good: Colombian food is amazing! the beaches as well, especially the ones along the coast. Property taxes seem reasonable compared to back home and credit cards are widely accepted.

The bad: The traffic is horrible! if you need certain paperwork done, it can take some patience. And yeah, water access can be a bit inconsistent in some areas.

In conclusion Colombia has a lot to offer, but it definitely has its quirks. It's an adventure!

I'm preparing to leave for Bali in a few days! Some of my friends already moved to Indonesia, and they're in Canggu at the moment so I'm heading there first! Just thinking about it makes me feel so excited! But seriously speaking, I want to get the vibe of the place then figure out later on if I want to settle there long-term.

After living for almost 2 years in Mexico I moved to Portugal and I've been here for about 2 months and I can relate to what you're saying. Everyt place has a good and bad side. For example, here, the quality of life is pretty good and I have no complaints about it. On the other hand, the bureaucracy is a pain in the ass especially if you need to do something faster, but it's part of the journey, so you larn to live with it.
