Cost of living in Hamburg, Germany

I'm new here and hoping to get some advice. I've received a job offer for a software development role in Hamburg, with a gross salary of €55,000 annually. It would be just me and my wife, so we're a couple without children. I'm trying to figure out if this is a realistic salary for us to live comfortably and save a little. I'm especially concerned about the cost of housing and how much we can expect to pay in taxes and social security contributions.
